Boyd Hancock has over 10 years experience as a literary agent. Working at three well-renowned Hollywood agencies, she developed a roster of writers and directors working in both features and television. Through daily contact with studio executives and producers, she launched the careers of successful writers, including Kim Barker (Warner Brothers’ “License to Wed”), Chris Morgan (Universal’s “Tokyo Drift”), Martin Wheeler (Sony’s “7 Seconds” and “The Detonators”) and more. Other clients serviced by Boyd include Rob Edwards (Princess and the Frog), John Raffo (Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story), Diane Lake (Frida), Dave Schmidt (Racing Stripes), John Turman (The Hulk), Alexi Hawley (The Exorcist: A New Beginning), and novelist Whitely Streiber (The Hunger).
Through her Boston-based production company, Hancock produced the independent feature film, The House of Usher, starring Izabella Miko (Clash of the Titans), Austin Nichols (One Tree Hill, Glory Road) and Beth Grant (Little Miss Sunshine, Donnie Darko). Maintaining close contact with studios and production companies on both coasts, she focuses on the development of a slate of projects and script consultation. She holds a Bachelors in English and a Masters in Finance.
